Abstract: This paper refers to the preparation phases of real-world test-use cases regarding communication between drones and citizens conducted as part of the EU’s AURORA H2020 project. A description is made of both the stakeholders involved in the co-development and selection of the tests, as well as the main research findings to develop the hardware side and software platform involved in the chosen final field-test solutions.
