Abstract: Environmental factors play a significant role in shaping individual and population health outcomes. This study aims to investigate the relationship between environmental factors and health outcomes, focusing on air pollution, water quality, climate change, and urbanization. A comprehensive review of existing literature was conducted to examine the impact of these environmental factors on health. The results suggest that exposure to air pollution, contaminated water, extreme weather events, and overcrowded urban areas can lead to a range of health problems, including respiratory diseases, cardiovascular disorders, mental health issues, and infectious diseases. Furthermore, vulnerable populations, such as children, elderly individuals, and those with pre-existing health conditions, are at a higher risk of adverse health effects from environmental factors. Policy interventions, such as improving air quality standards, enhancing water sanitation, promoting green spaces, and implementing urban planning strategies, are crucial in mitigating the health impacts of environmental factors. Overall, this study underscores the importance of addressing environmental determinants of health to promote well-being and prevent diseases.
