Abstract: Community-based programs play a crucial role in facilitating early intervention and prevention efforts in mental health by providing education. These programs offer a platform for promoting mental health awareness, addressing stigma, and equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize early signs of mental health issues. This essay explores the importance of community-based programs in mental health education, their impact on early intervention and prevention, as well as the methodology and strategies used in these programs. Through a thorough analysis of current literature and research findings, this essay emphasizes the significance of community-based programs in promoting mental health literacy and enhancing the overall well-being of individuals.
