Abstract: Medication Therapy Management (MTM) plays a vital role in optimizing drug therapy for better patient outcomes. This essay explores the significance of MTM in enhancing patient care, the methodology used in implementing MTM programs, the findings from studies on the effectiveness of MTM, discussions on the impact of MTM on patient outcomes, limitations of current MTM practices, and recommendations for future improvements. Through a review of recent literature, this essay highlights the importance of MTM in improving patient adherence, reducing drug-related problems, and enhancing overall health outcomes.
